A Daughter's Revenge

Caroline woke up from her nap with a stuffy nose.  Knowing it would be easier for her to nurse with a clear nose I get out the nasal aspirator.  Of course, she HATES this, but it works.  Then, I decide I should do a quick diaper change before feeding her.  After cleaning her up and applying Desitin, but before I get the clean diaper closed, she wets.  So, I repeat the whole process.  Meanwhile, she spits up.  It was enough that I decide she needs a clean onesie.  While I'm cleaning up the top end, the bottom end starts making noise...a lot of noise.  All of a sudden there is a minor explosion.  I lift her up to assess the damage.  Not only does she need yet another diaper, the changing pad cover needs washing.  To sum it up, the quick diaper change required 3 diapers, a change of clothing and a fresh changing pad cover.  Point taken Caroline.  If Mommy gets out the boogie sucker, she will pay for it.  Final score- Caroline- 1, Mommy- 0.  It's a good thing she is so cute.
